To the voters of the 2nd Worcester District,
Everyone here should be able to afford a home, find good work without a two-hour commute, and fill the gas tank without doing math at the pump.
Instead, Beacon Hill spends more money on their priorities, not on what matters to you:
- •Our roads. We pay enough in taxes. We deserve roads that work.
- •Our schools. Our kids shouldn't get less because they live in a small town.
- •Your money. You deserve to know where it's going and who's accountable for it.
I haven't lived a perfectly polished life. A serious health scare forced me to take a hard look at how I was living, so I changed it. The people who've known me longest know how much. When something isn't working, you can make excuses or you can find the courage to change it. Beacon Hill could use some of that same courage.
After fifteen years in local government, from the State House to running a town to the City Council, I know how government works, where it doesn't, and how to get things done.
That's why I'm asking for your vote in the Republican primary on Tuesday, September 1, and why I have to ask in an unusual way.
